What’s For Dinner?

April 12, 2010 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

Well, I’m still not feeling much like cooking. I think I’m going to stop worrying about it, and keep the meals simple. The family likes simple, so I’m just going to go with it.

Saturday – Make your own night. I enjoyed make your own night…except for the mess…

Sunday – Sandwiches

Monday – Baked Chicken, Baked potatoes, salad

Tuesday – Lasagna, salad, garlic bread

Wednesday – Leftovers, salad

Thursday – Chicken Alfredo Pasta, broccoli

Friday – Hamburgers with all the fixings

Sounds good, and similar to ours this week. Yay leftovers!

We have "get your own" nights when my fireman is on duty. Kids still have to clean the kitchen (mine are old enough to torture with chores) but anything that isnt made of sugar is ok for dinner. I dont keep junk in the house so it works out good.

I love leftovers! I have some "planned over" chicken cooking with our supper for tonight. Makes it tons easier latter in the week.

I will do "make your own night" again. And since all of mine are old enough, it will also be "clean up your own night"!

I didn't tell them no sugar, so I'm thankful they didn't think of that! lol I'll have to remember to tell them that next time, as I'm sure they will think of it!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
