Read the Bible in 90 Days

January 1, 2012 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

I am a Bible in 90 Days Graduate, having completed it in the fall of 2010. I have since volunteered as a mentor twice over at Mom’s Tool Box.

Mom’s Tool Box has changed the way they are hosting the Bible in 90 Days Reading Challenge. Now Individuals are hosting their own groups. I’ll be hosting my own Bible in 90 days challenge, with the help and resources from Mom’s Toolbox. I’m really looking forward to this!

I believe in the Bible in 90 Days reading challenge, as I’ve been through it myself. I experienced the difference it makes in understanding the Bible. Reading a chapter or two a day is totally different from reading large sections. You see things in reading large sections, that you miss when reading short chapters.

When you sign up to read The Bible in 90 Days with me, I’m comitting to helping you succecd in this challenge

I will encourage you, send you weekly email reminders, and have a check in post up  for a group check in on Mondays. You do not have to be a blogger to join in the reading.  I ask that you commit to the The Bible in 90 Days daily readings and check in on the weekly post.

We will be starting on Monday, January 9th and ending on Saturday, April 7th.

No special Bible needed. Use your favorite Bible and version. Here is a printable bookmark for you to use to keep track of your reading.

The daily readings will take about 45 minutes to an hour. And you need to read the Bible, not listen to an audio version. You can read the Bible on an electronic device, as long as you are doing the reading and not listening to audio.

I know when I’m reading the Bible, I like to stop and read all the notes. Look verses up, etc. When reading the Bible in 90 Days, try not to do that. Just keep reading. If you desire, keep a not pad with you when your reading. If you come to something you want to look up later, just write it down, and keep reading. The Bible in 90 Days is not a Bible study program, it a Bible reading program.

If you’ve always wanted to read the Bible all the way through, now’s your chance!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
