Our Homeschool Week in Review

June 15, 2012 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

We had another great week. Everything is going along smoothly. Which is so nice! I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts! lol

I found Zach laying in the chair reading. I don’t understand how he thinks that is comfortable. lol

We’re working on a few things for reviews. One of them includes a coloring book. Zach loves coloring books. He colors while I read.

Did you notice the scissors? and the crayon shavings on the chair? yea, I did too. sigh He got the vacuum up and cleaned it up. Go Zach!

Abby said I want to color too! So she went on the computer and printed herself some coloring sheets.

I went in the dining room (we use the table as additional work space) this afternoon and found this:

Hannah made Apple Pie! yummy! Of course, she cleaned it up. Up until a few weeks ago, if the kids cooked, I cleaned it up. I decided I wasn’t doing them any favors. So they now have to clean up and wash the dishes they used. I always had to clean up and do the dishes in Home Ec class. And I still have to clean up and wash the dishes when I cook. So they need to learn how, too. 🙂

LOL, Linda. My son sprawls in chairs like that for hours, then falls asleep. I’m always amazed when he can just spring right out of the chair and get on with his day. Me? I’d have a back ache, a neck ache, and my feet would be numb. Ah, youth. Mine’s gone.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
