It’s the first Saturday of the month (lol except I’m not posting this on Saturday ! lol), so it’s time for The View from My Front Porch. It’s definitely a fall view!
The Butterfly Bush by the stack of white flower pots is practically bare. The Hardy Hibiscus to the left of that, is bare, just the branches sticking out of the ground. The only bright spot in the yard is the Burning Bush by the corner of the house.
The Burning Bush is gorgeous! It’s about 4 feet tall, and will grow to 8-10 feet tall. This picture is also a good shot of the hills behind the house.
Ok, looking straight ahead from the front door, you can see the big Butterfly Bush. The flowers are all gone by, and the leaves are starting to drop. You can tell it has thinned out a lot, because you can now see the stairs going up to the road behind it.
The view off to the right is also very drab looking. You can tell by the neighbors trees that we didn’t get very much color on the trees this fall.
I think the lack of flowers and growing things has me missing summer more than the cooler temps do.
What does fall look like at your house?
