In the Kitchen with Linda & Dinner Menu

March 10, 2014 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

I didn’t take any food pictures this week. Everything on last weeks menu was good, though. lol

On Hannah’s night to cook she made pizza. She had already mastered the garlic crust. And helped me assemble the pizzas in the past. So this meal isn’t a stretch for her to cook herself.

This week, she is making spaghetti with homemade meat sauce. She never made spaghetti sauce before, so this will be a new challenge for her. Especially since I don’t follow a spaghetti sauce recipe. I just throw stuff in. Taste. And throw more stuff in. lol I think while I”m teaching her how to make it, I’ll actually write down what I do. lol

Since I don’t have any food pictures to share, I’ll share a picture of my new pantry cabinet. Well, I’ve had it for over a month now. And I love it.

pantry cabinet

It sits at the end of the kitchen cabinet, in the dining room space. These types of cabinets are readily available everywhere. Having this cabinet has made such a huge difference in my kitchen.

Taking all these baking supplies, beans and rice out of the kitchen cabinets made more room in the kitchen. When you have a small kitchen, you need all the storage room you can get!

I like how you break your days down into meats. I was trying something similar but I like your way better.

    Hey Linda,

Wow, I’m kind of jealous of how organized you are! I really like the cabinet, the wood grain is really beautiful and it clearly serves its functional purpose well. Tell Hannah that I think she’ll do just fine on the spaghetti sauce :-). Thanks for sharing and have a blessed week.

    All the best,
    Laura

Thanks, Laura, Hannah did a great job on the spaghetti sauce!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
