After several weeks without an oven, we finally bought a new stove! I put a lot of thought into what kind of stove I wanted. I share more about what I bought and why over at my post Tips for Buying a Stove

That’s the stove I choose in the picture above. That’s not my kitchen. lol I took that in the store. I’m very happy with the stove. I’m loving the two large burners on the cook top. I use a lot of large pans, and having only one large burner before was very inconvenient. It’s great to have an oven again. We said the first thing we were going to bake was homemade chocolate chip cookies. Instead, the first thing I baked was bacon for BLT’s. Still no cookies. Maybe tonight. lol
We love our Coleman Tripod Grill (affiliate link) that hangs over the fire. I talked about it last week, too. That’s because we really love it. Here’s a picture from last Saturday. We cooked hamburgers and corn on the cob on it.

Saturday – Sabbath- Make ahead meals- Cheeseburgers with lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and corn on the cob
Sunday – soup & sandwich day – Egg salad & Tuna sandwiches for lunch, BLT’s for supper
Monday – chicken – Baked chicken, baked potatoes, green beans
Tuesday – pizza/pasta –Taco Pasta Salad served on tortilla chips
Wednesday – beef – Beef & Bean soup in the slow cooker, homemade bread
Thursday – chicken – Slow Cooker Sweet & Sour Chicken, rice
Friday – Sabbath Dinner – Dinner out
