Wisdomantics Interactive DVD Board Game Review & Giveaway

December 18, 2014 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

I recently received the interactive dvd board game, Wisdomantics, to play with my family and review. Wisdomantics is for 2-4 players, or 2-4 teams, ages 12 and older. Wisdomantics is available for $29.95 on the website.

Wisdomantics Interactive DVD Board Game Review & Giveaway

Wisdomantics is an interactive DVD board game for players of various faiths who desire to gain the vast wisdom of King Solomon. Wisdomantics utilizes the proverbs of Solomon and blends chance, knowledge and strategy to create a fun experience while you learn! Game contents include 2 interactive DVDs with 400 questions, score cards, blessing cards, and more! As of this writing, Wisdomantics is only available in a New King James Version (NKJV), but they are working on a NIV version.

Wisdomantics Board Game

Wisdomantics is easy to play. When it’s your turn, you hold the Question Card, and the dvd remote. Or control the computer where the dvd is playing. You click on the next question number, and the game shows the question with 2 blank spaces in the verse. You then choose from four options, each with two words. If you choose the rigth answer the first time, the dvd will congratulate you, then tell you to take an Advancement Card and follow the directions.

If you miss the question the first time, you will get a second, then a final try, at answering the same question. If you answer it correctly on one of those tries, the dvd will congratulate you and tell you to pick a colored tile. If you answer incorrectly on all your tries, your turn is over and you pass the question card and remote to the next player. The game ends when a player fills in their Solomon’s Temple Scorecard with colored tiles.

I played Wisdomantics with my 14 year old son. We had so much fun playing this game together! He got a little too much enjoyment out of saying, “It’s not your turn, you’re in detention, It’s my turn!”. lol We will definitely be playing this again, and with the rest of the family. Guess who won? lol

Wisdomantics game

Wisdomantics is great for the whole family. It can also be played without the game board. You use the dvd, just keeping track of which player, or team, answers the most questions correctly. The person or team with the most points wins. I can see many uses for this game, not just as a fun family game. Wisdomantics would made a great addition to your homeschool, Sunday school class, youth group, or co-op. Since many homeschooling families, co-ops, and churches have the students study Proverbs, Wisdomantics is a fun way to reinforce what the students have learned. Or let them have a fun game day playing it after completing a unit of study on Proverbs.

Here’s a Wisdomantics video to watch so you can see how it’s played.
