Our Homeschool Week in Review

April 25, 2015 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

The main thing that happened in our homeschool this week was prom!

Our youngest daughter, Abby, 16, was invited to attend prom at our local high school by a guy friend from church.

It wasn’t an automatic yes, they had to work for it. By doing such things as finding a Dad approved dress, and having a responsible adult driver.

Our Homeschool Week in Review

Apparently, it’s not cool to show up to prom with your parents. lol Who knew?! lol Her date asked his youth pastor to drive them. The youth pastor just happens to be married to our oldest daughter. So our oldest daughter and her husband drove them to dinner, picked them up from dinner and drove them to the high school. They were going to return to pick them up, but at the last minute the boys parents asked if they wanted them to pick the kids up. Since prom doesn’t get over until midnight, they agreed. All I can say is he better walk her to the door tonight! lol

Who knew that getting ready for prom was so exhausting!

Here is my beautiful baby girl!

I hope she is having a blast tonight!

Schoolwork did indeed get done this week. Everything was overshadowed by prom preparations, though!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
