Air Angel Air Sanifier and Purifier Review

July 30, 2015 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

I recently received an Air Angel Air Sanifier and Purifier to review. Unlike an air purifier, which only circulates a portion of a room’s indoor air and pushes it through a filter, Air Oasis’ Surface and Air Sanitizers, including the Air Angel, produce safe catalytic molecules that are blown throughout a room to sanitize both the air and surfaces year-round.

The Air Angel is able to purify and sanitize the air and surfaces in rooms up to 250 square feet by using a proprietary technology developed by NASA requiring.

Benefits of the Air Angel, made in the USA, device include:

  • Provides clean air for a good night’s sleep
  • Destroys up to 99 percent (99%) of air allergens
  • Destroys up to 99 percent (99%) of odors (i.e. diaper pails, smoke)
  • Destroys up to 99 percent (99%) of germs in the surrounding air and on surfaces

I also received an Air Oasis Indoor Air Quality Test Kit so I could see for myself the difference the air sanifier made. The first thing I did was test the air quality in my house.

air quality test

The test kit was easy to set up. I followed the directions, and set up one dish. The picture on the right below is the before picture. After one hour open on the table, I closed the dish, put in back in the box & put it on the shelf for 5 days. After I put it on the shelf, I plugged in the Air Angel Air Sanifier and Purifier. I kept it plugged in and running for 5 days. I then put the second dish out out on the table for an hour. After the one hour, I put the second dish on the box on the shelf for 5 days, just like I did the first one.

air quality test    air quality test

I don’t think the after results are completely accurate. Everything was quiet in the house until after I put the second dish out on the table. Then my family decided to get super active. Repeatedly going in and out the door about 12 feet away from where I had the dish out. Then they walked by the dish on the table about a million times. (Ok, maybe not quite that much, but a lot!)

As you can see from the after picture on the above left, the mold is greatly diminished. The red bacteria spots are more, but I blame that on my family. I am impressed with how much mold was removed from the air. It’s kind of freaky to think about all that mold (& all that bacteria!) in the air you are breathing. I do have house plants, so that probably is the biggest contributor to the mold in the air. I wish I had had another dish to use after my family got so active, and in my mind, ruined the after sample.

air sanitizer

The Air Angel Air Sanifier and Purifier is easy to set up and use. It is designed to be able to use when traveling, as well as in your home, so it comes with a great carrying case.

There are pockets to hold the device, as well as the car mount, the car cord, and the house electrical cord.

air sanitizer

The Air Angel Air Sanifier and Purifier is small so it will fit wherever you are using it at. The baby’s room, your living area, the car, or the hotel night stand. The included owners manual is easy to read and understand. It also has directions for removing and cleaning the stainless steel filter. No new filters to buy!

The filter needs to be removed every 2 months, or more often depending on where you use it at. The filter is easy to clean, simply remove, and wash with water or use compressed air on it. It then slides back in easily.

I haven’t done any traveling since I received the Air Angel, so I haven’t been able to test it in the car. I do have seasonal allergies, so I think this will be great for our next road trip. Since the Air Angel comes with a car mount, it will be easy to take along. You can see the car mount on the under side of the Air Angel in the picture below.

air sanitizer

It has a low profile when mounted in the car. The Air Angel slides off the car mount easily for use in nurseries, bedrooms, playrooms, hotel rooms, planes, and more. Where ever are, this will help protect your children (and yourself!) against germs, viruses, and harmful pollutants in the air and on surfaces around them. I think the Air Angel will be amazing during cold and flu season.

air sanitizer

The Air Angel Air Sanifier and Purifier is fairly quiet when in use. Most of the time, we didn’t even notice that it was on. I only could hear it first thing in the morning, before everyone else was up. lol

This cutting-edge NASA technology was also recently awarded the influential Parent Tested Parent Approved™ (PTPA) Winner’s Seal of Approval for excellence in the baby and toddler category. With North America’s largest volunteer parent-testing company, PTPA is dedicated to bringing families products that are parent tested and parent approved.

The Air Angel not only eliminates odors in the air and surfaces around you, but it also removes fabric odor in your clothes! Here’s how to keep your clothes smelling fresh all summer long:

  • Simply place your Air Angel device in your closet or drawer and you will have noticeably fresher clothes in no time!
  • Another option is to place your Air Angel device under your comforter to remove any unpleasant odors from your mattress and pillows.

For more information on Air Oasis or to purchase an Air Angel, $249.99, please visit www.airangelbaby.com.

Air Angel has created a unique coupon code exclusive to my readers in celebration of Air Angel winning the PTPA Seal of Approval. For 15 days, you will have the opportunity to receive $50 discount off of the Air Angel by using lunacylinda50 promo code. That’s a great deal!

Hi! love the idea of freshening your clothing by putting it in the closet- you gave such a great description & info especially about the stainless steel filter, cleaning & no new filters to buy which is a big plus for me! My daughter has allergies & I had taken her for weekly shots for over a year with not much improvement. We have wood flooring but had carpeting in the bedrooms so I had a hardwood floor put in her bedroom, bought hypoallergenic mattress & pillow covers, removed all the stuffed animals & dust collectors in her room. A few of her favorite stuffed ones I put in plastic bags & hung one of those toy hammocks in one corner so she could still see & enjoy them. I know an air purifier is the next step, so this would be just what the doctor ordered!
