In the Kitchen with Linda & Dinner Menu

I forgot to share a picture of my Cherry Pie last week!

I did use two cans of cherry pie filling that I had in the cabinet, but I made the crust myself.

Last Monday, I used some homemade bread from the freezer to make homemade stuffing. This was the first time I have ever made stuffing completely from scratch. I’ve either used the boxed stuffing mix, or in the lat few years, I’ve been using the bags of bread cubes. I learned that I need to bake the bread cubes for longer, so they are drier, before making the stuffing.

I made Taco Baked Potatoes last Wednesday. A great way to get the taco flavor, while having the nice comfort food baked potato on a cold winter night.

My husband takes left overs for lunch. Well, whenever there are any! lol He really liked being able to take a couple of the taco baked potatoes for lunch.
