I started an afghan recently, so I thought I’d share the link. It’s a Hexagon Afghan. She has a great tutorial. The hexagons work up quickly, and can be joined together as you go. No more piles of squares (or hexagons) to be put together.

Here’s a Rag Shag Rug I would love to make.

Pumpkin Pie Body Scrub is the perfect Christmas gift to start making now.

This week, I completed the Bible in 90 Days reading program. I highly recommend it!

I’m having a give away!  The Mysterious Island DVD. We loved this movie!

And because I can never seem to list my new favorite sites without talking about food, lol, here are a couple recipes I found this week that I really want to try.

OAMC Taco Soup for the freezer. I’ll be trying this soon!

These Smothered Burritos look delicious, and they can be frozen!

In my travels around the internet this week, I found a few sites that I found interesting and helpful. Hope you do, too!

How to Make a Spout for a Plastic Bag is so convenient for food that comes in bags.

I love using essential oils. Here’s an informative post on The Benefits of Peppermint Oil.

5 Ways to use Newspapers. I also use newspapers to make pots for starting seeds in the spring. No need to remove the seedling from the pot, plant newspaper and all.

Decorating with Burlap is very helpful, especially with everyone decorating for fall now.

If your family loves the Chronicles of Narnia, you’ll love Aslan’s  Meditations: A Christian Devotional on Narnia & Real Life.

Oh Yeah! Homemade Oreos These will definitely make the kids happy!

I can’t wait to try these Apple Butter Sweet Potatoes. These would be great for Thanksgiving. Since I love sweet potatoes, I plan on serving these long before then!

Raising Homemakers has a tutorial on making a Standing Recipe Holder.

Napkins with Buttonholes! What a great idea! It would definitely be much more lady like to attach a napkin to your blouse button, then tuck it inside your collar. lol

I found a pattern for a crochet hat I would love to make. It has cables, like a knit hat.

Oh, I also want to make this knitted shawl. I’ve only crocheted shawls, so far. This looks like an easy one to knit. That’s what I need, easy. lol

I also found how to make a blog banner. Yeah, I need that. lol I really need to find the time to make one.

Pinecone Research

September 11, 2010 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

Pinecone Research

Pinecone Research is now taking new people to do surveys. I have worked with Pinecone Research for over a year now, and I still like it.

The surveys aren’t too long. Some companies I have taken surveys with make them so long, you think they are never going to end. They also go from one product to another in the same survey. With Pinecone Research the surveys about a particular product are only about that product.

All the surveys I have taken have paid $3. per survey.  Since most surveys are 15-20 minutes long, unlike other companies I have seen that only pay 50 cents or a $1 per survey. They also pay promptly. I usually get my payment within a couple of days. They also have a Paypal option. You can have the money sent straight to Paypal, instead of a check in the mail.

Often, they send out products to try after the first survey. I have gotten samples to try a few times over the last year. After you try the product, you take another survey, that you get paid for again. You get to try new products, and get paid $6. for the 2 surveys!

I highly recommend Pinecone Research if you want to try taking (& getting paid for!) surverys online.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
