I had to give the 2 boys haircuts today. They were loooooong overdue. I always end covered in hair, so I tend to put it off as long as I can. I’m the one that needs the cape! The clippers were acting up, so it took like twice as long as normal. Well, maybe the length of their hair contributed to that. And poor, poor Zach! He obviously is in need of some sort of neck brace. The poor child couldn’t hold his head up at all! It’s amazing the poor child has made it through these past 7 years with such a floppy neck!
Incredibly Blessed…
mom – You guys must think it’s your job to drive me insane.
daughter – Yes, it’s our God given job!
mom- NO! Children are supposed to be a blessing!
daughter – Maybe being insane is being blessed.
In that case, I’m Incredibly Blessed!

Down at the Old Swimming Hole
I was talking with the kids the other night about where I used to go swimming. Here’s one, Buttermilk Bay.
I can’t find Bumps Pond on the map. Maybe that’s wasn’t it’s real name. lol
Oh, just for fun. Here’s where I lived. See the little road that goes between Kayajan Ave and Queens Bay Lane? I lived in the house on that little road. And used to play in the park in front of the house. Yep, I lived in a subdivision. I much prefer the country!

An Awesome Book!
A Love Worth Giving by Max Lucado
This was an awesome book! I loved it! If you haven’t read it yet, it is a must read! Wow, that’s a lot of exclamation points. But that’s how great this book is!
Here’s a quote:
You have a ticket to heaven no thief can take,
an eternal home no divorce can break.
Every sin of your life has been cast to the see.
Every mistake you’ve made is nailed to the tree.
You’re blood-bought and heaven-made.
A child of God – forever saved.
So be grateful, joyful – for isn’t it true?
What you don’t have is much less that what you do.
See? An awesome book!
Ok, one more quote:
Discover along with the psalmist:”He….loads me with love and mercy” (Ps. 103:4) Picture a giant dump truck full of love. There you are behind it. God lifts the bed until the love starts to slide. Slowly at first, then down, down, down until you are hidden, buried, covered in his love.
“Hey, where are you?” someone asks.
“In here, covered in love.”
Let his love cover all things.
Do it for his sake. To the glory of his name.
Do it for your sake. For the peace of your heart.
And do it for their sake. For the people in your life. Let his love fall on you so yours can fall on them.
A Love Worth Giving is a must read book!
