The 3 kinds of cookies are done. With the majority packaged for the freezer. I have to, or they will eat them ALL tonight!!

The chicken and broth are done, and cooling. They’ll go in the fridge to finish tomorrow. I skim the fat off the broth, after it’s cool.

The chili is just about done. And the water is on for spaghetti. I just have to grate the cheese, and chop the onions. 🙂

The 4 little kids are playing cars on the table. sigh They won’t put them away so the table can be set. Guess I’m going to have to threaten to throw the cars away. They’ll put them away then. Because I’ve thrown them away before!!

I have to hurry up and do some posts to move the Narnia quizzes down farther. They are too wide, and causing my side bar to load at the bottom. I hate that!

I have Cincinnati style chili cooking on the stove, as well as 10 pounds of chicken leg quarters boiling for the meat and broth. yummy soup, Chicken a la Mama, my version of Chicken a la King, 🙂 And whatever else I decided to do with it!

I also have to make cookies today. I think I’ll do peanut butter, and choco chip cookies, made with Andes candy chips. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I’ll try and post some pics later. I have a LOT to share! Including a home remodel!!

Ok, I guess that’s all for now. The kids had a picnic out side (the little kids, Mel is STILL gone!) and they are now done, so it’s back to school for us!!

O, so G~ tagged me for this weird meme. hehehehe ok, ok, it’s to list 5 weird things about myself. So here goes:

1. I won’t read a newspaper after someone else.

I have to be the first one to read it. Guess I just like nice, crisp news.

2. I can’t stand for someone to touch my hair.

It’s torture for me to go to the hairdressers and get my hair cut.

3. I don’t sweat.

weird. and unhealthy. I wish I would sweat!!

4. I don’t like to feel full.

I always stop eatting before I’m full, because I can’t stand the full feeling in my stomach.

And finally, a weird thing about me, that no one knows about, even my huzband!

5. I scan the obituaries for the peoples ages.

I don’t read their names, or where they lived. I just look at the ages. And if it was a child, then I read all of it. Can you say post traumatic stress????
