Back to work………..

Today is the first day back to piano after the summer break. I did so enjoy my 5 weeks off. sigh……… Ok, it’s not that bad. It just seems like it. lol About 2 hours out of the house, not counting getting ready time. But hey, it’s only once a week. I’ll get over it. lol The kids just asked me when they could start getting more lesson time. I said I’m just not ready! 3 of the kids share an hour. Usually it’s 30 minutes per student per lesson. But sitting for an hour and a half in the van with the two little ones? NO!! lol They’ll just have to be happy with about 20 minutes of lesson time for now. It’s the best I can do! Mean Mother that I am! lol

Ok, Guess I better get ready to go! I’ll have birthday pics soon!

No Cake?

No one liked my cake, huh? That’s ok. The next time I make zucchini bread, cookies, or brownies, I’m not sharing them!!!!! hehehehehe

I’ve never heard the term “hotter’n snot” until today, over at G~’s. But it pretty much describes our weather lately! The kids fried an egg on the road today! lol The took a funny video, if I ever learn how to upload it here. lol I’ve been hiding in the house as much as possible. The gardens look like it too!! D has been harvesting, so I’ve been preparing it all for the freezer. So I’ve been productive, just IN the house! The kids are outside now playing on a water slide.

We’ve been busy with the library reading program lately. It ends Thursday, so that’s a relief. But then it’s back to school! At least we don’t have to go out to school! 🙂

Ok, I have to go cook supper. Supposed to be steaks on the grill, but IT’S TOO HOT! So it’s now steak on the stove! lol
