We spent a lot of extra time this week getting Hannah and Zach ready for their Bible Drill Competions. Hannah competes in the State Bible Drill tomorrow, Saturday. Zach competes in his Association Bible Drill Sunday afternoon. His State Drill isn’t for a couple of weeks. If he wins Association and goes on to State. Look for results and pictures next week. Go Hannah! Go Zach!
The only picture I have to share this week is of Hannah’s kitchen adventures. She loves cooking, baking, and all sorts of kitchen activities. She’s still been working through Vintage Remedies for Girls, which has now become part of the new book Vintage Remedies for Tweens, as part of her Home Ec class. Here’s a link to my review. She made ricotta cheese and cream cheese following the instructions in the book. They both were easy, and came out great. Both were delicious! Since pictures of soft white cheese don’t show the product very well, here’s a picture of the cheesecake she made with the ricotta cheese. So delicious! I can’t wait for more of her kitchen creations! lol
This week I posted a couple of reviews for The Old Schoolhouse Homeschool Crew. I reviewed God’s Great Covenant and Christian Kids Explore Biology . Go check them out!
