Thanks Katharina! I can’t wait to try it!
I am interested in your “Slop” recipe! I’ve been looking for some new cabbage ideas and my 2y/o is on a hotdog kick!
Nicole, we don’t have a recipe. We just use whatever amounts we want to and have on hand. lol We usually use a whole head of cabbage, or two, depending on size. So you probably wouldn’t want that much. lol You could start with a couple of cups of diced cabbage, a couple of diced potatoes, onions if you want them. Then however many hot dogs you would like. Fry the potatoes, cabbage, and onions until tender, then add cut up hot dogs, heat through. Season with salt and pepper if you want. Sorry I don’t have exact measurements for you. My family eats a ton of this stuff, so you probably couldn’t use my exact recipe. lol I have to fry it in batches, as there is no frying pan big enough for the amounts we use. lol Hope you like it! 🙂
i’ll see what i can do with it! thank you!!
I make a potato/onion/hot dog (or sausage) slop-type dish — going to try it with the cabbage. yum!
