Blooms in the Bible Garden

June 8, 2010 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

The roses in the Bible Garden are blooming and I’m so excited! I really should get more rose bushes. I only have these two in the Bible Garden. I have wild roses in the garden in front of the house, and all over the property, actually. It would be nice to get a few more rose bushes, though.

Here’s a picture of the one in full bloom.

Here’s a close-up of that rose. Isn’t it gorgeous?

And here’s the other bush. There is one rose just starting to open up, along with lots of buds. You can see 3 of the buds in this picture, but there are more can’t can’t be seen here.

And a close-up of the little rose.

The Day Lillies in the Bible Garden are still blooming.

I love it when all the flowers are blooming!

Gorgeous roses and day lilies! I was gifted a Hyssop this fall (another bible garden plant) and am looking forward to it blooming in the herb garden.

Thank you so much for coming by to share!

My roses are just starting to open up, too. In my last house I had more than 30 roses- they were a lot of work, so I tried to limit myself to just five at this house. But I'm up to eight…

Thanks for sharing at the Tuesday Garden Party!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
