Our Homeschool Week in Review

June 29, 2014 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

We are coming close to our summer break. The kids were hoping that this past week was the last. We have some work to do this week, though. They are not very happy about it. So maybe I’ll be able to talk them into working really hard on Monday so we can start our break then.

Since they only get the month of July off, they don’t want to miss a day!

Abby finished her 9th grade work a couple of months ago, and has been working on 10th grade. So the only reason I need her to work longer is for a couple of curriculum review items. She is not very happy about it. She has worked so hard this year, and was looking forward to some down time. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure she gets her time off.

She likes to spend her free time with the kittens. Our kittens are so spoiled! Notice that this one is sitting on a pillow. Most of the time, Abby has one wrapped in something, and is holding it like a baby. lol

Zack is looking forward to his summer break, too. He already went to archery day camp this month. He only did math a couple of days that week. So technically, he already had a week off. Zach is the one that needs more work time. Boys! lol I think I’ll have him work when Abby goes to volleyball day camp. He won’t be happy, though. lol

We were supposed to go to the movies with our homeschool group on Monday. I wasn’t feeling well, though, so we didn’t make it. Zach was disappointed as he was really looking forward to seeing How to Train Your Dragon 2. So Dad took him on Saturday. He liked it. And it was a special Dad and Zach time. 🙂

Here’s Zach showing the movie tickets while trying to hid his face. lol

And that’s our homeschool week in review!

I want to see How to Train Your Dragon 2 with my boy, we’ve seen the trailers but I don’t think it’s released in the UK yet. I hope you all have a great week.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
