Last week, I worked on organizing my kitchen. Yikes! Does it ever need it!
When you need lots of dishes, glasses, serving items, etc. I takes a lot of space. Add specialty items for baking and small appliances to a small kitchen, and you have a recipe for disaster. I’m not going to post before and after pics of the cabinets. They would scare you too much. lol
I am, though, sharing before and after pics of my spice drawer.
This drawer is to the right of my stove. Very convenient for cooking. The baking spices are in a separate cabinet.
As you can see, the drawer had gotten very messy. It wasn’t all from me! lol The rest of the family had a hand in it, too. I still haven’t figured out how a family that rarely eats out ends up with so many ketchup and sauce packets. lol Most of them were hot sauce packets, too. We don’t even use hot sauce. lol They are now out of the drawer waiting to be given away.
Now my drawer looks so much better. It is, of course, so much easier to find what I’m looking for. And the drawer now opens and closes without bottles getting stuck.
Ok, so tell me I’m not they only one with organizing problems in the kitchen!

Well, I keep all my spices and stuff in cabinet. The problem with that approach is, that the bottles in front hide whatever is behind. I think keeping these in a drawer is more convenient as I can see and read labels on all the bottles.
