it is so hard to find good family movies
I love the Boxcar Children. I remember as a little girl spending the night at my Grandparents and staying up reading these books. My cousin and I would sometimes reenact out our favorite scenes. I’m looking forward to watching this because The Boxcar Children was my favorite book when I was a child. When my children were in elementary school, I bought the book for them and it became one of their favorites.

I love the Boxcar Children they are clean well written books the whole family can enjoy! I just introduced my boys to the series and we are on book 5! I didn’t even know they had a DVD this would be a hit here and couldn’t come at a better time.

I loved reading that they create a home for themselves in an abandoned boxcar in the forest. And, grandpa moves the boxcar to his backyard. Nice!
My children love mysteries so they’ve loved this series. I love how the siblings all care for each other and are responsible. We love the books!

They are great books for kids — easy to understand the story.
I like that the Boxcar Children series emphasizes sibling togetherness. We would first read the books and then view the DVD. You could then compare and contrast how the books and the DVD are alike and different.
My favorite thing about the Box car Children is that they are always on an adventure or solving a mystery. I remember reading these books and a child and hope that my son will start reading them too.
