Life has been so busy and full that the only food pictures I took last were of candy.

I have carried a pedometer for a long time. It’s a great tool to help you see how active you really are. In my quest to get healthy, I treated myself to this.
The main thing that happened in our homeschool this week was prom!
Our youngest daughter, Abby, 16, was invited to attend prom at our local high school by a guy friend from church.
It wasn’t an automatic yes, they had to work for it. By doing such things as finding a Dad approved dress, and having a responsible adult driver.

So last week, Getting Healthy with Linda Week 1, I talked about some of the reasons why I wanted to start getting healthy. I shared about using my pedometer, and how many steps I took each day that week.
My goal right now is 5,000 steps a day. It is hard to get that many in some days. Never mind the recommended 10,000 steps a day ! Here’s how I did the past week.
I made something I’m calling Turmeric Chicken, for lack of a better name lol, last week. This was my first time using turmeric and I was afraid I had used too much, but it came out great, and my family ate it all.
