As part of the Schoolhouse Review Crew, I received access to Rosie’s Doll Clothes Patterns Learn How to Make Doll Clothes Video Course. The video course includes over 130 videos, over eight hours of video, and eight free printable patterns. The video course is accessible online, as well as available on dvd. The doll clothes made from these patterns will fit 18 inch dolls.
I recently received a copy of the audio book Stories of the Pilgrims from Jim Hodges Audio Books to review. Stories of the Pilgrims tells about the everyday life of the Pilgrims, in England, in Holland, and follows them on their Mayflower voyage, as well as telling all about their adventures in the New World.
I started reviewing homeschool curriculum and products for the Schoolhouse Review Crew in 2011. I have enjoyed every minute. I have been homeschooling my six children since 1991, this is our 22nd year. For me, the crew is a way to give back to the homeschooling community.
Reviewing for the crew has also been a blessing to our family. We received so many great homeschool products to review Then we get to keep them after the review is over. I have found many great products to use with my children that I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise. You can’t always tell by the product description on a website or in a catalog, how a product really works. With the crew, I try the product, then tell you what I liked about it, and how I used it.

As part of the Schoolhouse Review Crew, I received a subscription to God’s World News. God’s World News provides six grade level publications for students to learn about the world around them from a Christian perspective. The six levels offered are PreK-Kindergarten, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, Middle School, and High School. I received the Middle School edition that I used with my 7th grade, 13 year old, son.
As part of the Schoolhouse Review Crew, I recently received the ebook Jim Elliot: One Great Purpose and the Jim Elliot: Unit Study Curriculum Guide from YWAM Publishing to review. I had never heard of YWAM Publishing before receiving this book. So I spent some time on the website checking them out. YWAM Publishing is the publishing division of Youth with a Mission. They offer a great variety of books. From biographies, to international adventure books, to homeschooling, to books on Christian living, and missions. And much more.
As part of the Schoolhouse Review Crew, I received The Presidential Game game to review. The Presidential Game is a fun way to learn about the presidential election and the electoral college.
The Presidential Game, which sells on the website for $35, is for ages 11 to adult. Since the game is played with teams, younger children can be included on teams with adults. This is a great family game.
As part of the Schoolhouse Review Crew, I received a copy of the book Seed Sowers Gospel Planting Adventures by Gwen Toliver from Seed Sowers to review. The book lists for $13.95 for the paperback.
The author, who is also a homeschooler and fellow member of the Schoolhouse Review Crew, spent two years working on this book, including many in-person interviews. There are stories of twenty-one missionaries told in the book.
