In the Kitchen with Linda & Dinner Menu

April 4, 2016 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

This was our supper on Saturday. Smoked Sausage sauteed with onions, macaroni & cheese, and baked beans. This is one of my favorite meals. The flavors just go together so well. And it’s easy, too! lol

We had ham leftover from Easter, so I came up with a skillet dinner to use some of it. This Alfredo Ham & Pasta Skillet Dinner was so good. Look for the recipe coming soon!

My major kitchen win last week was making my own ground venison in the food processor. I have a meat grinder that belonged to my father. I had never used it though. I went to clean it last week for use, but it must have been made out of aluminum as the insides were all corroded with white “stuff”.

So I tried using my food processor. I did about 6 pounds in small batches. It came out great. I used it all to make taco meat. We ate some that night, and I have 3 packages of it in the freezer ready to go for quick taco based meals.

This week, I’m grinding more to make spaghetti sauce with. I am so happy to be able to add meals made with ground venison to our menus!

Sugar Twists Review & Giveaway

October 10, 2015 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

Have you heard of Sugar Twists?

Sugar Twists put an end to the hassle and headaches caused by elastic, fabric hairbands. No dents or damage, slipping or snapping, and NO tearing or tugging! Sound too good to be true? Well it’s not!

Sugar Twists

I’ve been using Sugar Twists in my hair for about 2 weeks now. I love them! I have to wear my hair up out of my way in a pony tail while I am working, or it drives me insane. Whenever I go out anywhere, I always pull the hair elastic out, as I prefer to wear my hair done when out. Which means my hair would always have the dreaded hump in the back. Enough that my teenage daughter will always tell me I should put my hair back up. lol

Sugar Twists

Now, thanks to Milk and Sass’ Sugar Twists, I can have my hair just the way I want it. With no hair hump to embarrass my teenage daughter!

I also had my other daughter, who has long, thick hair try the Sugar Twists. She said the Sugar Twists held her hair in a pony tail very well. I wish I had had Sugar Twists when my three girls were little. They would have made our lives, and hairdo’s so much easier!

Sugar Twists

Sugar Twist are only $7.95, and each box has 6 bands  Available in a rainbow of colors, from neutral to neon, Sugar Twists are a must-have for active moms and children alike.

 Sugar Twists Review & Giveaway

Sugar Twists are available in six color combinations: Caramel Toffee, Chocolate Mocha, Neon Candy, Pink Candy, Pink Marshmallow, Glitter Candy, and Cotton Candy. All those color choices mean there is a color perfect for everyone, and for every occasion.

 Sugar Twists

In the Kitchen with Linda & Dinner Menu

July 28, 2014 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

I didn’t make a menu last week. My father in law is, unfortunately, in the hospital. My two youngest went to church camp. I had a tooth pulled on Monday, so have been eating soft foods most of the week. My daughter, not the one at camp, had her braces adjusted, so was on soft foods all week. Dinner for 1 or two just didn’t seem worth it the effort it took to plan a menu. lol

Real Women Leading with Proverbs 31 Values Review

March 7, 2014 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

I have always loved reading Proverbs 31. Oh to be as together as her, to get as much done in a day as her. Lots of days, I don’t feel anything like her! And I’m sure I’m not alone in this. The Proverbs 31 woman sure sets the bar high for the rest of us.

Real Women Leading with Proverbs 31 Values

That’s why I was looking forward to reading (and reviewing!)  Real Women Leading with Proverbs 31 Values. Now, before you say I’m not a leader, I don’t need this book, hear me out. Whether your a boss at work, manage a home, or a ministry, you are a leader. Sunday school teacher, nursery worker, coordinate volunteers, you’re a leader!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
