Shocking, but true!

I had to have a talk with my daughter, the 10yo one, today when she asked me if the dryer will work without a dryer sheet in it! Hey, at least she was doing laundry!!

Linda doesn’t just live in the backwoods, she lives in THE STICKS!

They have to tote water 3 miles from the dug-in well in goat bladder buckets and they beat their clothes on a rock in the stream out back and they comb they hair with thorny bush limbs and ride to town in a cart pulled by three goats (the ones that weren’t sacrificed for buckets, that is) two stray cows, one hateful dog and one confirmed bear. And occasionally a healthy turkey or two.

That’s why it takes 45 minutes! (to get to Walmart!)

Yep, that pretty much sums it up!
