My middle son, child no. 4, had his 20th birthday last week. I now have 3 kids in their 20’s, and 3 teenagers! I asked him what he wanted for his birthday dinner, and he didn’t even want a big dinner. Then life got in the way and I was unable to make him a cake.
The poor birthday boy got….
store bought cupcakes at 10 o’clock at night. Hey, at least I put them on a plate! lol
Abby, 16, has been making cookies and candy to sell. She’s raising money for her mission trip next summer. I’m supplying the ingredients, and she’s supplying the labor. She already knew how to make chocolate chip cookies and worlds easiest candy. She learned quickly how to make brownies, peanut butter cookies, and no bake cookies. She’s doing a great job and has quite a few customers.
No Bake Cookies as far as the eye can see!
Last week, she gave me a list of things she wants to learn how to cook.
Biscuits, gravy, bacon, eggs, sausage, pizza, fried chicken, baked chicken, spaghetti, tacos, tater tot casserole, and lasagna.
I’m certainly not going to say no to help in the kitchen! So she will be cooking several times this week. 🙂
