I finally started working on the apples this week! We finally brought them all in the house, so that makes it easier to use them. lol You can see pictures of the last of our apples harvest over on my Saturday on the Farm post. I started with dehydrating, because it’s the fastest thing to get going. lol I now have about 4 quart jars of dehydrated apples. I’ll keep going, dehydrating a load or two a day this week.
My handy dandy tools the Snackmaster Dehydrator and the Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer make quick work of processing all these apples.
One night, I made this Virginia Apple Pudding. It turned out great. But as I was eating it, I realized I doubled everything except the apples. So I guess I just have to make another one so I can get it right. lol

Our apples came in about a month ago (we probably live further south than you) and we didn’t dry one apple this year LOL! We got started making apple butter and made a batch a day for a about 2 weeks. I’m kind of regretting not making other apple things while I had apples. I might just have to buy some to try the apple pudding, it looks great. Thanks for sharing!
