Saturday on the Farm – New Dog!

February 8, 2014 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy 2 Comments

The big news here in Kentucky is that it is cold and snowy. Again…. Still…. Whatever.

I took this picture at the beginning of the week. That’s not snow on the porch. No, snow would be too easy. That would be sleet and/or freezing rain stacked up. ugh.

In more exciting, fun news, we got a new puppy! The mom is a Lab, Chow mix and the father is a German Shepherd. So he will be a big, outside dog. The owners kept the puppies inside, so for now he is inside here, too. Since the high today was in the 20’s, it’s going to take some time to get him acclimated to the outside temps. Hopefully, he sleeps tonight! lol

Meet Max……

Between the cold and the snow, I am totally unmotivated to start any seeds. I am cold down to my bones. lol I’m just like, whatever….spring is never coming anyway, why start seeds? lol Maybe one day this week I’ll get out from under my shawl and blanket and get busy. But for now, I just want to be warm!

If you want to get started on your garden planning and seed starting without me, check out my Planning a Garden post. Maybe I’ll find some gardening motivation this week. Maybe??

Hopefully, spring comes soon!

Congratulations on the newest addition! Max is adorable. I am so tired of snow and ice too. We are expecting more snow here in NJ this afternoon. Spring can’t come fast enough for me.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
