I recently received another When Calls the Heart DVD to review. This one is titled Change of Heart.

The When Calls the Heart series, on the Hallmark Channel, is inspired by the best selling books by Janette Oke.

When Calls the Heart tells the story of Elizabeth Thatcher. Elizabeth left her well to do home to move to Western Canada town of Coal Valley to be a teacher. Having never been out of the city and away from her families home, she has a lot of adjustments to make.

In When Calls the Heart Change of Heart, Julie Thatcher pays a surprise visit to her sister Elizabeth. Julie doesn’t like to listen when Elizabeth tells her what life in Coal Valley is like.

Needless to say, she lacks the knowledge to survive in Coal Valley, including being a good judge of people. Julie gets herself, and Elizabeth in a predicament with a thief.

Thankfully, Mountie Jack and the new Mountie sent to take his place find them in time. And now Jack must decide if he stills wants to leave Coal Valley, or stay with Elizabeth.

Julie realizes the mistakes she has made, and how hard it really is to live in Coal Valley.

Julie also thinks it’s funny to tell stories about Elizabeth to her students. The students think the stories are funny. Ok, I think it was funny, too! Elizabeth, however, didn’t think it was funny at all.

When Calls the Heart Change of Heart is about 85 minutes long. It is Dove approved and suitable for the whole family. We enjoyed watching Change of Heart. It’s another great episode in the series.
