Iesodo (pronounced Yay-Sa-Doe), is a wise dove whose name means “The Way of Jesus”. Iesodo and his lovable feathered friends live in the Holy Land in a beautiful Cypress Tree on the shores of a vast Lake (the Sea of Galilee to us). The Cypress Tree is a cool tree. It has hollowed out branches for the birds to live and play in. The birds are an unlikely group of friends, and though they have their differences, they have one thing in common: since they met Iesodo, their lives have never been the same!

I did take very many pictures of our food last week. Last week’s menu was great, I just forgot to take pictures. ooops!
I do have one picture of Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef.
The kids and I spent today going shopping for, and packing 7 Christmas Shoeboxes. We’ve done these in the past, too, and it is so much fun. Fun for us, and fun for the kid who receives it as well, I’m sure.
I was able to watch the new movie Saving Christmas online, in advance of it releasing in theaters on November 14, so I could tell you about it. In Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas, your family will join Kirk’s family in their Christmas celebration. There is singing, dancing, feasting, imagination, and fun while exploring Christmas traditions.
I watched Saving Christmas with my husband, and two of our teens, 14 & 16. We thoroughly enjoyed watching it. There were even a couple of spots that had my husband and I laughing out loud.
I recently received the dvd Hero to review. Hero is a great family movie that reminds us all how important a father is in a child’s life. Hero is from the producers of Alone Yet Not Alone.
In a movie sure to inspire fathers and sons alike, Hero presents an all-star cast including Burgess Jenkins (Remember the Titans, Nashville, The Shunning), Gregory Alan Williams (In the Line of Fire, The Preacher’s Kid), R. Keith Harris (Big Fish), and Mark Joy (The Ultimate Gift). The film also includes a musical score by Grammy winner, Michael Omartian. For more information visit the Hero movie website
