I recently shared my review of the Old Fashioned DVD, and today I’m back to talk about the Old Fashioned novel and devotional.
Pirate’s Code: The Adventures of Mickey Matson is the follow up movie to Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure. My 14 year old son had already seen Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure. And was happy when I got Pirate’s Code in the mail.

Michael W. Smith released his newest album, Sovereign, earlier this month. He is releasing a brand new video of a single from the album, Sky Spills Over, today!
Last August I reviewed Roman Roads Media Old Western Culture The Greeks.
My 16 year old daughter has since finished the course. I liked it because it is a challenging, well written curriculum. My daughter liked it because she earned 2 credits for completing it. A social studies credit, as well as a literature credit.
I recently received a set of Roman Roads Old Western Culture The Romans The Aeneid, 4 dvds and a workbook, to check out.
I recently received the DVD 23 Blast to review. I was very much looking forward to seeing this movie, as I didn’t get to see it when it was out in theaters. I was also excited to see it because it is set in a small Kentucky city not too far from where I live.
23 Blast tells the story of teenager Travis Freeman, a hero both on and off the football field. Travis contracts an infection that destroys his optic nerve and causes him to go blind overnight. Can you imagine it?! One day you can see, and the next morning you are blind!
