Too Many Graduations

May 28, 2015 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

Back in the day, hahaha, when I was in school, there where only 2 graduations by the time you finished 12th grade. Kindergarten and high school.

Many kids go to Pre-School now and have a graduation before they even go to Kindergarten. Complete with caps and gowns.

I think kindergarten graduation started because kindergartens were privately owned when they first started. When public schools started offering kindergarten, they kept the graduation. That’s my theory, anyway.

Too Many Graduations - When did changing school buildings become full cap and gown graduation worthy?

The End of a Mother and Son Era

April 2, 2015 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

Ever since my youngest was 2 or 3, we’ve been putting this pink duck in the flower garden. Every spring we find it in the garden and set it on the rocks. Over the course of the summer, the animals would knock it back in the garden so we can dig it out again the next spring.

You can see the little pink duck sitting on the rocks in this picture from March of 2013.

I Just Ordered Reebok Walking Shoes & ZPump Fusion Sale

March 31, 2015 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

I am way past due buying new shoes. I wear my shoes from when I get up, to the time I go to bed. So I wear them out quickly. I used to buy walking shoes, but somehow got out of the habit. Probably raising 6 kids? lol For a long time now, I have been just going to the store and buying whatever seemed to be the best for the lowest price.

In my efforts to regain my health, I’ve been walking more, and those cheap shoes from the store just don’t cut it anymore. I just placed my order on Reebok.com for new walking shoes! I ordered these Daily Cushion 2.0 RS walking shoes. The Reebok website was very easy to use. You can even chat with someone if you need help.

Reebok - Daily Cushion 2.0 RS Black / Pure Silver / Ultima Purple M42702

If you prefer to run, I spotted these cool new running shoes.

Should You Be Treated Differently By Christian Businesses?

March 3, 2015 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

Over the years, I have had many times that I have had to take one of the cars to the garage. Or to get a tire put on. Or talk to someone at a dealership about our car. I have also worked at two different car dealerships, before I had kids, so I have witnessed this many times.

Car repair men treat women like they are idiots.

My Kid’s Personalities

December 19, 2014 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

My husband and I were talking one night, not too long ago, at dinner about what the kids were like when they were little.

The kids at the table, which would be the 4 teenagers left at home, wanted to know what they each had been like when they were little.

Christmas Shoeboxes

November 15, 2014 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

The kids and I spent today going shopping for, and packing 7 Christmas Shoeboxes. We’ve done these in the past, too, and it is so much fun. Fun for us, and fun for the kid who receives it as well, I’m sure.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
