Faith, Home, & Family
I recently received this Night at the Museum movie pack from VocalPoint so I could watch it with my family for family movie night. My family loves to watch movies together, and we have seen (and own) the previous two movies in the NATM series.
So I popped the popcorn, filled the bags, and settled down with my family to watch Night at the Museum Secret of the Tomb.
I recently received the book Motivate Your Child – A Christian Parent’s Guide to Raising Kids Who Do What They Need to Do Without Being Told to review. Motivate Your Child is written by Dr. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller, RN, BSN, who are the founders of the National Center for Biblical Parenting and Biblical Parenting University.
I recently received the new book, Becoming a Spiritually Healthy Family by Michelle Anthony to review.
In Becoming a Spiritually Healthy Family: Avoiding the 6 Dysfunctional Parenting Styles Michelle Anthony guides us through learning about 6 types of destructive parenting patterns, and what we can do to overcome them. The world is constantly pressuring families, most of the time, not for the good. In this book, we learn how to stand strong, leave the pressures and dysfunction behind, so we can have a spiritually healthy family.
I recently received the DVD 23 Blast to review. I was very much looking forward to seeing this movie, as I didn’t get to see it when it was out in theaters. I was also excited to see it because it is set in a small Kentucky city not too far from where I live.
23 Blast tells the story of teenager Travis Freeman, a hero both on and off the football field. Travis contracts an infection that destroys his optic nerve and causes him to go blind overnight. Can you imagine it?! One day you can see, and the next morning you are blind!
