I celebrated another birthday last week. Number 52, to be exact. My daughter, 19, made my favorite, from scratch, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.

I had put supper in the slowcooker, with my daughter’s help, that morning, but my husband came home and said let’s take you out to eat. So….I turned the slowcooker off, and out to dinner we went.
After I finished dinner, I realized I forgot to take a picture of it! It was good, though. lol
While at Cracker Barrel for dinner, we walked around the store. I saw so many things I would love to have for my kitchen. This metal tray turned wall hanging is one of them.
I had seen this candy bar there before, but most of my kids hadn’t. They thought it was funny. Of course the boys wanted me to buy it. lol
I didn’t. I bought some other, more girl friendly candy. You know, without the bacon. lol I do like the name of the candy bar, though. lol
Now…. to answer the question that I get asked about a hundred times a day……….What’s For Dinner?
Saturday – Sabbath- Venison, potatoes, onions, and carrots in the slow cooker
Sunday – soup & sandwich day – Minestrone Soup, leftovers
Monday – chicken – Roasted Turkey, mashed potatoes, applesauce, salad
Tuesday – pizza/pasta – Homemade turkey pepperoni pizza pockets with garlic crust, salad
Wednesday – beef – Homemade Cincinnati Style Chili, broccoli
Thursday – chicken – Roasted Turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans
Friday – beef – Venison, potatoes and carrots in the slow cooker
